Boobscanner is a joke about breast implants, that was due to become a major hit in the spring of 2010 but never made it to the App Store due to an overnight change of policy regarding adult content. 5,000 apps were removed the same week Boobscanner was submitted for approval.
Clementine Apps delivered this fun app to Libra Festival (of iFog fame) by combining several technologies:
- 12 Flash animations entirely recreated with Core Animation.
- integration with device camera and photo library. Thumbnails creation.
- multi-touch selection of the anatomy parts under test...
- Core Data model and persistence.
- custom game-like UI and navigation.
